EEO#.ZP
Description
Sets the position of the Z pulse when the absolute Z pulse mode is selected (EEO#.ZMODE 1).
When you are using multi-turn or single turn absolute feedback devices the Z pulse generated by the EEO will always be aligned with the same mechanical position of the of the primary feedback position. If you are using an incremental feedback deviceA process whereby some proportion of the output signal of a system is passed (fed back) to the input. In automation, a device coupled to each motor to provide indication of the motor's shaft angle, for use in commutating the motor and controlling its speed and position then the origin of the primary feedback is not at the same mechanical position each time the drive powers up.
Examples
Code
To get a Z pulse only when the absolute position is at 0 multi-turn and 180 degrees of the 1st rev,
